Ethiopian airlines is a state owned company is well positioned in the African market. The matter of concern is what is what made it happen, whether it happened due to negligence of the company or technical fault. Who is to blame? Just another artificial wing disaster!

July 19th, 2009

The count goes on….

A civilian helicopter crashed in Northern Afghanistan killing atleast 16 people. One thing common between the last Caspian crash and this crash is that both were Russian built!

Is it still safe to rely on the artificial wings or the Russian-built artificial wings?

Artificial wings

Flight 447 and now Caspian 7908. The Geneva based Aircraft Crashes Record Office’s statistics show that in 2007 the number of accidents were 137 and for the year 2008 it has increased to 147. What will be the number for 2009?

This Caspian disaster indicates the faulty policies of US. Due to unavailability of OEM parts, Iran had to continue buying Russian aircrafts, which are thirsty for maintenance. Who is to blame? The technological disadvantage of Russia or the Political advantage of US?
