Hurt Locker which earned less than 2% of Avatar’s box collection, won six Oscars compared to three by Avatar. Avatar was a movie based on the theme of human greed which could someday make the environment unlivable. On the contrary, Hurt Locker was a movie based on Iraq, bombs and army. Avatar was one of the biggest 3D movies ever made and it has revolutionized the way movies are made. How many of you know Michael Jordan? Quite a lot I guess but how many of you know Jordan, a country?

Jordan is a west Asian country sharing borders with Syria, Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Isreal. Much of the land is covered by the Arabian desert except the North-Western part where the capital of the country Amman is located, thanks to the Jordan river.

Jordan is an emerging nation with per capita GDP of $5,547. Since 1999, the liberal economic policies have helped this country to become one of the freest and most competitive economies in the middle east(2009 Heritage foundation Index).
