E-commerce entered the technology market after the evolution of internet as a medium to communicate. It so happened that this technology was widely used to increase operational efficiency and save costs for the channel partners. The entire e-commerce industry focused on transactions rather than relationships. This feature was one of the key in many unsuccessful e-ventures. Lately, we can see that people are doing online business in a much different way. The influence of SNSs (social networking sites) in the e-ventures have become very important. Microsoft is planning to launch its outlook 2010 which is compatible to SNSs, auction sites like alibaba’s taobao has these features and many such ventures. China has attracted $853 billion FDI in last 30 years, which is the highest among the emerging nations. China’s manufacturing industry ranks 4th in the world. More than 50% of china’s fiscal revenues come from this sector. Most of the PCs and Laptops manufactured in the world are from China.

Artificial Wings at stake

The Russian planes are once again in the news! This time just before the most awaited air show MAKS-2009. This show is seen as the most important and largest exhibition for Russia’s aerospace industry. Coincidently the plane which crashed, Su-27, were to be part of the elite flying group the ‘Russian Knights’ in the upcoming show.

Earlier the series of crashes forced Russian air force to ground the entire fleet of Su-24s. Is it time for Su-27s or the entire Russian air fleet to retire.
