Not only Russian aircrafts but also American wings are suseptible to disasters. The recent disaster invloving Bell 430 copter in India proved that the quality of the copter is not the only factor for disasters. There are many other factors like training of personals, supporting systems and traffic managers who contribute to the successful operation of artificial wings.
The incident happened after a Bell 430 copter went missing with the Cheif Minister of Andhra Pradesh on board. After one day the charred copter and the bodies were found on the slope of the Nallamala hills. The heavy rain storm during the flight is said to be the cause of it.
Who is to blame?
The copter, pilot, traffic controllers or the trip planners. A detailed cause and effect analysis should be done and subsequen actions are required. Flying has become an integral part of high profile corporates. But how safe is it?
